Lights

The Christmas spirit finally took me... I can't wait for the holidays to come! Since i live in a town near the city, our tree isn't that impressive... I don't think one could actually call that a 'tree' but they tried, i guess!.. It's better than nothing and honestly, it looks quite beautiful at night. I feel the need to do some Christmas shopping soon and i'll keep the blog updated!

I'm sorry to whoever might read this for not updating the last couple of days. Nothing happened in my life but a week of viruses and practically living in bed... Not so sweet. I'll try to make up for it! :)

It's that time of the year

And by 'that time' i mean that my family has finally begun to decorate our house. I know most people tend to do it way earlier but i personally don't share the same idea. Shopping malls and boulevards put up their decorations two months before Christmas this year. Two actual months. That feels too fake and materialistic to me, it only troubles the holiday spirit. However, with fifteen days left until the feast, i feel more excited than ever to get ready for it. We made an advent wreath, i put up lights, paper snowflakes and garlands. I can't wait to buy more festive knick-knacks and, of course, a Christmas tree!

Any suggestions on decorating? :)
